Our adventures as we homeschool, travel, and explore our way through life... which was made more scenic by the additions of Asperger's, Parkinsonism, and Gluten Intolerance. Welcome to The Journey Unexpected!
I have Asperger's and so does my son. I ALWAYS encourage people to find the right tones (high vs. low and amount of reverberation) for their children. I did as a child and by the time I finished high school I could play 5 instruments well. My son is 9 and has just gotten into music. I made sure I gave him a lot of fun instruments like harmonicas, drums, and recorders and he's exploring them.
I as an aspie had drum sticks and I would have two paperback books in my front pockets and drum away as I walked around my home, school- their were times I would go for walks and play street music. I enjoy almost any type of junk music like Stomp, Blue Man Group anything that used unconventional interments.
