Quotes & Sayings

"Aspergers - it's not a symptom, it's a feature." - @AsperCat

Too many people undervalue what they are... and overvalue what they aren't.

Though devastating at first, Autism isn't the end of the world. It's the beginning of a whole new one.

A child with Autism is not ignoring you, they are waiting for you to enter their world.

Autism - it's not a processing error, just a different operating system.

"Building up a weakness just makes you less disabled. Building a strength can take you to the top of the world.” - John Elder Robison

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.

Crying doesn't indicate that you're weak. Since birth, it has been a sign that you're alive.

Christianity is not a religion about a moral code to keep. It's about a God who saves people that can't keep the moral code.

"You were given this life because you were strong enough to live it." - unknown

Jesus + Nothing = Everything

"Creativity is so delicate a flower that praise tends to make it bloom, while discouragement often nips it in the bud." - Alex F. Osborn

Hello! I am a Christian stay-at-home-mom and a homeschool teacher who lives in Nevada. In this blog, my husband will be called hubby and my son will be known as "Buddy". I have blogged before, but got out of the habit. My Grandma passed away last week (May 13, 2010) and we used to talk about everything. By the time we got done talking, I didn't feel the need to blog it. That has changed. Welcome to The Journey Unexpected.
