Our adventures as we homeschool, travel, and explore our way through life... which was made more scenic by the additions of Asperger's, Parkinsonism, and Gluten Intolerance. Welcome to The Journey Unexpected!
I have a lasagna recipe that is easy, always turns out good, and received the stamp of approval.
Ingredients: 1 lb hamburger 1 lb ground mild Italian sausage 1 jar of spaghetti sauce (I normally use traditional, but you can use any kind) 6 lasagna noodles (broken in half) 8-10 oz of freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
1. Cook the lasagna noodles to al dente, and set aside.
2. Brown the hamburger and sausage, mix with the spaghetti sauce.
3. Layer ingredients in a loaf pan (meat and sauce, cheese, noodles), the last layer should be meat and sauce. I normally can only get two layers of meat and sauce, and one of noodles. Finish with a layer of cheese.
4. I follow your baking directions: bake at 375 for 25 minutes covered in foil, and another 25 minutes without foil.
We normally get three to four meals out of it (for two people).
That sounds really good, too! It also looks like it has a lot of flavor without including the items R doesn't eat. I still call it your lasagna when I make it. :)
It does have a lot. I'm working on adding the recipe to my blog, with a few changes, I just made it on Monday. I was able to split it up into four meals!
